Several years back, I talked to my friends about the matured Adobe products. That time, the Adobe has developed several very good products like Acrobat reader/writer, Photoshop, Illustrator etc. Years have passed, this company is still adding irrelevant features to its already perfect products. This is a dilemma: how would companies like Microsoft, Adobe come up with new areas instead of injecting junks into their already perfect products? Go pick up the current Microsoft office suites and the lousy window 7 system, you will agree with me on that. Since Acrobat 4, what is new from Acrobat that we need? What new features on Microsoft Word that are really useful to us? What is new of any of these VISTA or 7 that WinXP is lacking?

I admire Steve Jobs who is a caner survivor. Through the years, Jobs never stopped thinking about innovation, never slept on his past glory. Apple's stock has rewarded its investors darnly (if  you have bought AAPL at $7.11 a share back in 2003, or $3.2 a share back in 1997, now you are at least 30 times wealthier).  Well, where the stock prices of MSFT and ADBE headed?

Shame on Gates and Ballmer, shame on Adobe's John Warnock! These smart guys are guilty out there. They are healthy and smart, that is for sure.  But instead of wasting the nation's valuable resources, they are wagging their tails for years without much innovation! They are wasting their customers' time and money by injecting useless junks into the already perfect softwares.

The companies should be halted immediately and look for new directions. I don't think the software engineers working there are stupid, they just need some agitation from good leadership. Period.
