U.S. equity futures are trading slightly higher as the market tries to build on its winning streak. Yesterday saw more gains and the benchmark S&P 500 Index (SPX) is only 10 points from its all-time high of $1850. Investors have little to key in on today except for an existing home sales report which is due out at 9:00 am CT. The CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) fell 4.5% yesterday as stocks ground higher throughout the session. Volumes on up days remain light but the bullish trend looks to have legs at this point despite the mixed economic data.

Treasuries have moved lower after holding steady overnight in light trading. The 10-year yield has climbed back toward 2.77% but remains in a tight range. Europe is mixed with most markets near unchanged amid ECB easing hopes and after a disappointing U.K. retail sales result. Asian bonds were lower as the Nikkei climbed almost 3% but China fell a little more than 1%. There wasn't much news overnight globally but the Ukraine's president has called for early elections which could result in some calm there. The G20 begins its first meeting of the year where officials will try to coordinate monetary policies. There's only a little data in the U.S. today with just January existing home sales but there is Fed-speak from Bullard and Fisher.
