No, I am not in Boston. Mine is beauty rest but don't think it is pillowtop (can't remember). My neck is not good too. I use those special pillow -- forgot what it is called, press your palm and the print will stay.

Mine is ultra firm. Definitely good for my back. Seldom experience back pain after changing the bed.

The best way to choose is to go to the store and try it. Remember, don't just lay down then get up. Lay down for a little while to feel it.
