Sadly, this is how things are for young immigrants. My sisters can barely speak Chinese and my parents know no English at all. They communicate through me, and sometimes even I get tired of translating. There are tons of ESL classes for immigrants, but most Chinese don't attend them. Even if they are busy, it's hard to survive in a foreign country without knowing the language.
