"The 2007 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon was crafted from several of Sonoma County's most prestigious appellations and blended seamlessly to bring together the unique characteristics of each, creating a superbly balanced Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine offers many layers, featuring aromas and flavors of red cherry, blackberry and fresh sage with an underlying dry creek dustiness. Subtle herbal notes are complemented by additional layers of chocolate and vanilla, resulting in a complex, yet easy drinking, wine."

不明白美国的酒,叫做法国名字,还弄得什么巧克力vanilla味道,有什么好喝的?
随便喝喝也凑合,但弄得像法国贵族似的,还评分,有些滑稽。美国人也山寨。

随便喝喝也凑合,但弄得像法弄得像法国贵族似的,还评分,有些滑稽。美国人也山寨。

The vanilla flavor is what the wine maker describes this wine.  The wine it actually does not taste like vanilla.  It's just one of those very subtle flavors in the wine.  This wine tastes not bad, and it is good for everyday drink.  The wine systems (everywhere in the world, not only in USA) are either Franch (the majority) or Italian.  It's not "山寨", but it's just the naming of the wine based on its variety.  This wine is called "Cabernet Sauvignon" because its grape variety is Cabernet Sauvignon.  Like last time the Chardonnay dvork MM liked was the grape variety of Chardonnay.

Sonoma 夏天常去,sweet sour dough is the best. Cabernet Sauvignon is not that sweet, yet smell really good, like black cherry. Thank you for sharing.

Yes, exactly for this wine with 2007 vintage.  I bot 2 cases 2 years ago when it first came out.  Not really started drinking this until recent.

I don't know ... it's advertised on their website.  I actually don't know where to go yet.  Air has been booked but not hotel.  I'll make a plan this weekend.

公元前2000年~前1600年——酒能乱性的时代开始鸟!
  
  下面科普一下中国古代文化知识:
  
  话说,轩辕黄帝手下有一个大臣名叫杜康,此人没神马正经本事,主要职责就是管理粮食。
  
  当时,黄帝正在准备与陆浑族大战,征调来的粮食木有地方存放,杜康十分着急。。。
  
  某天,他突然灵机一动,把粮食藏在了干枯的树洞里。。。没想到接下来一连几年风调雨顺、连年好收成,存在树洞里的粮食没顾不上用,被遗忘鸟。。。
  
  等到杜康突然想起来、去树洞查看的时候,看到装粮食的树洞裂开了一条缝,里面的水不断往外渗。。。出于人类天然的好奇心,杜康不由得尝了一口——我勒个擦,真是香气四溢,口感醇美,而且喝完之后晕晕乎乎、飘飘摇摇、非常之爽。。。
  
  杜康连忙接了一罐子水浆带回去乘上给黄帝,黄帝品尝之后,大为赞赏——虽然杜康因管理不善、导致粮食霉坏而被贬职,但酿酒有功又被封爵。。。
  
  自此,杜康投身于伟大的酿酒事业。。。

本尊对这段忽悠不满。因为把粮食放在树洞里,都成了鸟虫美味,怎么会有酒呢?求
解。得到如下解释。但‘空桑’怎么能解释为树洞呢?‘空桑’应该是木桶。



“慨当以慷,忧思难忘。何以解忧?唯有杜康。”这是魏武帝曹操《短歌行》中的
诗句,也正是有了这则“广告”, 才使得千百年来人们把“杜康”当作“驰名商标”,
不仅杜康酒由此走红,就连杜康本人也因此被世人尊为酿酒业的鼻祖。
那杜康酿酒的灵感是咋来的呢?是从剩饭中悟出来的。江统在《酒诰》中说,杜康
“有饭不尽,委之空桑,郁积成味,久蓄气芳,本出于此,不由奇方”。 意思是说:
杜康把吃剩下的饭放在枯死的桑树洞里,时间长了,这些剩饭就在树洞里发酵了,
发酵的时间长了,居然散发出奇异的芳香。随后,杜康把每日的剩饭都放在这个树
洞里,留心观察,忽然发现桑树洞边的一股液体散发着扑鼻的香味儿,他就把这液
体命名为“酒”。
秦汉以后,历代帝王对杜康屡加追封,尊他为“酒仙”、“ 酒圣”, 民间更是尊
奉他为造酒业的祖师爷。
杜康酿酒之说,在《吕氏春秋》、《战国策》等史记中都有相关的说明。但是,杜
康究竟是哪一朝代的人,至今众说纷纭,莫衷一是。一说是黄帝时代,一说是夏禹
时代,一说是周朝人,一说是汉代人,难怪宋朝人高承在《事物纪原》一书中疑惑
地说:“不知杜康何世人,而古今多言其始造酒也。”《说文解字》中说:“少康,
杜康也。”少康是我国第一个朝代夏朝的第五世君主。西晋人张华撰写的《博物志》
一书中认为,杜康是汉朝时代的酒泉太守;民间也传说他是一个手艺高超的酿酒师。

有一个大致的时间是比较接近的,那就是杜康生活在夏商时代的早期,这时酒风甚
盛,酿酒技术已经成熟。至今在河南汝阳一带,仍有杜康村、杜康河、酒泉沟、空
桑洞一类的地名。还有一点值得注意,《说文解字》“酒”条中讲“古者仪狄作酒
醪”、“ 少康作秫应酒”;“帚”条中讲“古者少康初作箕帚、秫酒。少康,杜康
也。”明确提到杜康是“秫酒”的初做者。秫,即黏高粱、高粱。在杜康之前,即
使有酒存在,却没有人用高粱酿酒。在粮食作物中,高粱比黍、稷、粟、稻的出现
要晚一些。高粱富含淀粉和少量单宁,这是酒中芳香族物质的主要来源,使高粱成
为一种很好的酿酒原料。如此推断,杜康是用高粱酿酒的创始人。
