U.S.-listed shares of Research In Motion Ltd. RIMM +2.49% rose more than 2% in thin premarket trading. The shares rallied nearly 14% on Friday with investors generally optimistic about the upcoming Blackberry 10 release. See related: RIM gets big bounce — and it's still cheap.
Shares of Facebook Inc. FB +2.68% rose 1.8% in premarket trading after Sanford C. Bernstein analysts upgraded its rating to outperform from market perform, lifting the price target on the shares to $33.
Shares of Yahoo Inc. YHOO +2.32% rose 1.7% after Goldman Sachs analysts added the company to its conviction buy list and raised their price target to $24 from $22 previously.

Dreamworks Animation SKG Inc. DWA -3.84% shares slumped nearly 6% in premarket trading. “Rise of the Guardians,” its latest offering for kids, took in $32.6 million in North American theaters over the five-day holiday period. The New York Times’ Arts Beat blog called it a “weak” showing at the box office, saying it was the lowest opening total for a Dreamworks movie since 2006.
