AAPL is set to hold an event at 1 PM ET at which the company is widely-anticipated to unveil the iPhone 5. In conjunction, the company is likely to release the update to its mobile software, iOS 6, and perhaps a few more products -- like an updated iPod Touch lineup, maybe even a refresh to the iMac lineup or the iPad mini. •rice: Don't expect AAPL to change the $199 price point that has worked so well for them. With that said, it's likely that they lower the price on previous models.
•Release Date: If AAPL follows its normal release schedule, it's likely that the phone will be ready for sale in the next two weeks. Pre-order could be open as soon as Friday, according to rumors, which may push up that release date. |
