I would say MACD ND forecasts top not accurate. Example below.
In last three years, MACD ND has been on SPY weekly charts.
However, until now, SPY has been in up-trend.
Conclusion: MACD ND is not good for 猜顶.

My worry was that negative divergence alone wouldn't work since you don't know when the trend will stop.
But mikeqc's post answers my question. good to learn.

As usual, the statistics only works well on SPY AAPL such high price-vol instruments.

I was saying that in "SPY Serial Charts --- Week39".
But Week40, the long white bar let me discarded my week39.
SPY looks better. Others (QQQ, IWM, AAPL, , ,) look uglier. I am still not desperate. waiting for an election rally.
