Physically, today is my last day at Penn State.  I am driving to Twin City tomorrow. I should leave here just as all my friends, but I have very complicated feelings now.

Generally speaking, as a football fan, I really respect JoePa, while I only saw him in person during the games.  Well, one of my friends saw JoePa at Penn Stater during his intern. No doubt, a lot of unders come to Penn State just because of him.  So you should understand that a lot are hurt by the quick-but-unreasonable decision made by the board of trustees.  JoePa is going to retire after the season, so why let a person, who has contributed so much to Penn State, leave here in such an shameful way?  I can't understand this.   Graham Spanier is definitely responsible for the wrongdoing, but JoePa shouldn't be critisized because he did report the crime to the one who he trusted and should take the responsibility to investigate the whole case!  You shouldn't count on a busy and old person to fix the entire home for you!  I felt so pity for JoePa.  You know, I think he looks so "cute" with such a "cartoonized" nose, and HE HAS A RECORD OF 409 WINS OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL!  I can't forget the 2005 Orange Bowl.  We defeated Seminoles after 3 over times!  And 2008, roses were distributed in the snow during the 4th quarter of our last home game of that season, and yes, our rival is Michigan State!  Another notable thing of JoePa is that even though he is 84 years old, he keeps running out to the field with his team!

Anyway, the elegant football program at Penn State is crashing now.  Can you understand the feeling when something you are proud of turns into something you might never want to talk about?

 I am leaving and ...
